Life As A Warrior

This week went by really slow. We wore our JCBA shirts as usual on Mondays. I forgot if we had NHS on Tuesday or not. This is crazy but I have no clue what happened on Wednesday or Thursday. On Friday, we had an FNL meeting. We talked about going to the local liquor stores and asking them if they new about the policies for selling alcohol. We also talked about “noon time”, its when we have activities during lunch about being drugs and alcohol free. the theme for this time is non-smoking.

On Saturday, it was our last day for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). We help people around the community do there taxes

Introduction.

Hi, my name is Julianne Lam. I’m a junior at Hiram W. Johnson Senior High and I am part of JCBA (Johnson Corporate Business Academy) house for almost 2 years. Life as JCBA student is really fun and exciting, there is always something new to look forward too. We try to get involved in school and our community as much as we can. Everyone in JCBA is one big family, we all help and support each other.

The teacher are there more than just your teachers but as friends, they’re always there when you need someone to talk too. The students are friendly and all know each other. The things we have in our SLC are VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), HJ Healthy Way, SAGE, Student Store, Website and volunteer work.
